Job Description:

Mintoak is looking for a passionate UI/UX Designer who can transform complex business problems into intuitive, delightful digital experiences. You’ll work closely with Product Managers, Developers, Business stakeholders, and fellow Designers to create user-centric solutions across mobile and web applications. The ideal candidate should have strong UX thinking, excellent visual design skills, and an eye for detail. They should be comfortable owning the complete design lifecycle - from research and wireframes to polished UI and developer handoff.

Key Responsibilities:

Product Design Contribution • Understand business requirements and translate them into intuitive user experiences. • Create user flows, journey maps, information architecture, and wireframes. • Design high-fidelity interfaces for Mobile and web platforms. • Create user flows, journey maps, information architecture, and wireframes. • Collaborate closely with Product Managers, Developers, and QA teams throughout the product lifecycle. • Contribute to key product workflows, UI patterns, and screens when required. • Maintain consistency across products by adhering to established design guidelines. • Participate in design reviews, usability testing, and iterative improvements. • Product thinking and a mindset that encourages innovation.

Collaboration & Process:

•Work closely with engineering, product, and UX teams to ensure seamless design-to-development handoff. • Partner with frontend engineers to ensure components are production-ready and technically feasible • Advocate for design consistency, usability, and accessibility across teams.

Design Systems and Foundations:

• Help in the end-to-end creation and evolution of Mintoak’s design system. • Ensure the design system supports enterprise-grade requirements. while remaining flexible for fast product iterations • Help establish governance models for adoption, versioning, and contribution. Quality & Craft • Maintain a high bar for visual design, interaction design, and usability • Ensure all designs follow accessibility best practices (WCAG - AA) • Continuously refine foundations based on product feedback and evolving needs.

Skills and Experience

• Strong understanding of the entire product design lifecycle - from discovery to delivery • Hands-on expertise with tools like Figma (components, variants, auto-layout, tokens, libraries)

Qualifications & Experience

• 2–3 years of experience in product design, with strong exposure to design systems or foundations work • Proven experience working in fast-paced startup environments • Ability to think in systems, patterns, and scalability, not just screens • Strong collaboration skills with engineering and product partners • An excellent portfolio demonstrating:
